The Azerbaijan Tourism Board, together with local tourism partners, is participating in the Tashkent International Tourism Fair (TITF) in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, to promote the country’s tourism potential. The exhibition, themed “Tourism on the Silk Road,” serves as a key platform for industry collaboration and networking.

Azerbaijan’s national stand features nine local tourism industry representatives, including Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) and Shahdag Mountain Resort, providing visitors with insights into Azerbaijan’s history, cultural heritage, national cuisine, mountain ski resorts, wine traditions, health tourism, and expansive winter tourism opportunities. The stand also hosts B2B meetings with international tourism professionals to foster partnerships and cooperation.

As part of the event, representatives of the Eurasian Mountain Resorts Alliance, of which Shahdag Mountain Resort is a member, held discussions on winter tourism opportunities, upcoming projects, and planned international competitions at the resort. Additionally, Shahdag Mountain Resort was selected to host the next Eurasian Mountain Resorts Festival, scheduled for March 2025.

The Tashkent International Tourism Fair (TITF) is recognized as one of the most significant tourism events in Uzbekistan and the Central Asian region. The exhibition, running until November 23, is expected to attract 1,500 exhibitors and over 15,000 visitors and industry professionals from around the world.

During the period January-October 2024, 37,536 Uzbek visitors traveled to Azerbaijan, marking a 19% increase compared to the same period in the previous year.
